The volunteers this time will be helping to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of injured service members.

"Operation Care Package"

Our volunteers will be working with local schools to gather items to package and mail to soldiers serving overseas as well as currently recovering at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center located in Washington, DC. Read More

"Veteran Showcase"

Voluteers assisted in setting up a display which honored American Veterans in the main hallway at Westridge Middle School. Visitors and students were provided an opportunity to see original artifacts and read stories about veterans.

"Tree Time"

Volunteers raised money to purchase trees to be planted in a local community park. Ten trees were planted in Moss Park located in the Lake Nona area of Orlando.

"Firehouse Frenzy"

Volunteers traveled to an Orlando firehouse to learn about home safety. While their, they were also able to learn how a fire engine works.

"Visiting with the Vets"

Our volunteers traveled to the local Veteran's Hospital to spend a half day with the Veteran's.

"2nd Harvest Food Bank"

Volunteers collected food to help with the food shortage during the Covid 19 pandemic.

"Tunnel to Towers"

Volunteers raised money for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation which builds "smart homes" for severely wounded members of our Armed Forces.

"Matthew's Hope"

A truly wonderful and rewarding project where the team was able to serve food to the homeless in Winter Garden, FL.

"Clean the World"

What an outstanding organization. Clean the World takes used soap from hotels and creates brand new bars of soap to ship to third world countries. The soap we packed was being shipped to Zambia!!!

CURRENT AND PAST PROJECTS

"Living History Day"

On Veteran's Day, November 11, 2002, we had over 30 veterans come in and speak to students. Both the facutly and student body dressed in "period costume". The day culminated in a ceremony where students presents the Veteran's that were in attendance a plaque thanking them for their service.

"The Poinsettia Promise"

Volunteers raised money to purchase poinsettias during the Holidays to bring to a local retirement home. The objective was to have a poinsettia in every room!

"Recycle Madness"
​
​
Volunteers collected used ink cartridges and newspapers to be recycled. 9,735 pounds of newspapers were collected!

"Greenhouse Goodies"
​
​
A quite ambitious project where volunteers created gardens both outside and inside a greenhouse. Plants and vegetables were grown and sold to raise money for charity.
